As a cat owner, I haven't personally encountered whisker fatigue in my feline companion, but I appreciate being aware of this condition and the potential signs to watch out for. I think using a whisker relief bowl sounds like a simple and effective way to ensure a comfortable eating and drinking experience for our cats. It's always important to prioritize their well-being and provide them with the best possible care.

Thank you again for sharing this valuable information, and I hope more cat owners become aware of whisker fatigue and the benefits of whisker relief bowls.

In reply to <a href="https://www.petconnection.us/pet-friendly-airlines/#comment-423">Cindy</a>.

So, if I have a small dog or cat, these airlines would be considered pet-friendly? But, they are not considered pet-friendly by those of us who don't have a dog weighing under 20 pounds. So, we are to only choose the small, often sometimes yippy dogs, so they can travel with us. Something is missing for me as someone who has one dog that cannot fit under the seat but not a large dog. I would be happy to put her in a carrier and buy a seat for her next to me. For me, we are a long way from considering these airlines pet-friendly, and yes, I read and understand the criteria but what about size and weight?

Most important information is missing.

Which airline has the larger crate mesurement to fit under the seat?

I have an ESA dog and last time I flew before covid, she flew for free and didn't need a crate. She slept at my feet the whole time.

Now, after covid, airlines took advantages of remaking all their rules.
Excessive fees and mandatory carrier crate which eliminate very many pets from flying. Basically, only toy side dogs can't fit and move around in these crates.
My ESA is a 15 pound doxipoo consider a small dog but cannot turn around in these crates. My flying days are over. I couln't even attend my father's funeral :-((((

I need to travel one way from La Paz, BCS to Los Angeles, USA. There are no nonstop flight to LAX fro La Paz, so I will have to get to San Jose del Cabo for a non stop flight to LAX. I checked with Alaska several months ago and was told that to transport two cats in the cabin, I must buy (pay) for two seats. This is acceptable to me. I understand that both must stay in their carriers on the plane. My question: Once in LAX, is there shuttle transfer to Santa Barbara that allows cats on the bus? I have used shuttles before but without pets, and one time, it made so many stops before SBA, it would be very stressful foy my cats to be confined for so long.

Is there a shuttle or limo that meets us at LAX and drives non stop to SBA?

I would be so relieved and gratefull for any advice.

I had the same sentiment as Michael Freeby. But I lived in an apartment and all the neighbors complained about the odor when my cat sprayed. I blocked the door with some furniture which caused him to go into a frenzy of desperation. He tried to get out the window, fell off the narrow windowsill, broke his neck and died.

Neutering is a necessary evil I am sad to say. Humans are able to sublimate their sexual urges to some extent but animals can't. They are completely dominated by them.
It would have been kinder for me to neuter my cat than to let him suffer horrible frustration. If I owned a farm in the country and was willing to risk losing him then I would have let him live his natural life.

My kitties love their catio. I made one out of a 10' by 10' dog kennel, put it up against the house and made the top unescapeable. My cats have 27/7 access and use it as they please. I have plants and patio furniture out there, and litter boxes hidden in flat-topped dog houses. Guess we've had it for 8-9 years now. I highly recommend a catio to keep all kitties happy and safe!
